Sunday night I got the sudden urge to see how my vanity, that was formally outside of the bedroom, would look in the corner. So I got Ryan to help me move it, and saw how perfectly it fit in between the shelves and window. A match made in heaven - why had I not made the switch before?
I moved the large full length mirror that use to be here out into the hallway, and it really opened up the space.
Above the vanity mirror is where I want my geisha drawing, and I think I may have found where I can get one ;)

Yay I can totally see that geisha girl there. love your vanity space - I wish I had a good place to put a vanity in our condo but there is no where. luckily I have a bathroom to myself.
also I just saw your comment on on of my posts about London - I was there taking a course to do eyebrows! It's this special way that is quite popular in the UK. I'll have to blog about it. Also visiting family and friends (i was born there and lot's of calgary ppl actually live there). xo

I have a spare room in my house that I've been slowly turning into a closet/vanity room. I should be done with it in a week or 2 so be on the look out for a post :D.
I love the placement of your makeup desk. It fits there perfectly and I love that it's by a window. Natural lighting definitely helps when it comes to makeup.

great job! it does look like it was meant for that spot. I loved my vanity so much but sadly, when we moved in together I had to give it up as our sleep patterns are so different. So now, i get ready in the bathroom again. Oh well.

@Sofie: I know, I'm really looking forward to getting it! Thanks so much :) I hate hanging mass produced prints in my place so it will be nice to have a piece of original art work from an artist I know! :) Who knows, it may be worth a lot one day if you really push your talent.
@Donna: Aww, thanks. Mine is still in the organized phase, thats for sure. We'll see how it looks once the novelty has worn off a little.

Great place for the vanity, I agree with Alexis, the light is amazing! My gf has the same exact vanity and loves it. I would like something like that in my spare bedroom but it would need to be about 4 times bigger..i have wayyyy too much JUNK! :)))
